My Year of Binchy – Week 50: Two weeks left!

Here is a list on Bookshop.org with all the Maeve Binchy books I’ve read / am reading all year.

What I’m listening to:
Did I cry?

Yeah, it was a pretty great ending.

Thoughts while reading (could be about the book, could not):

It is nice to be reading on the porch again and not in the front room looking outside all sad. And definitely not from the confines of a jury room, although that was interesting and something I’ll never forget.

I’m back on the front stoop, and I have a new friend.

I bought myself a digital camera this weekend. It gave me an upset tummy to do so, because I am quite unused to buying things for myself. But I did!

Here is a blog that I wrote about the pics I’ve taken so far.

Mickey is out of town. Boo. But that means I’m eating pasta in some form or another all week (Mickey’s tummy can’t do noods.) Yay!

Tonight is tuna noodle casserole. IDK why, I’ve just been craving it. Then, later in the week, I will have pasta alla vodka with some penne and sweet peas. I love lil green peas. I should try to grow them!

I think I might just finish this Binchy book list up this year, y’all. Lemme get into it.

Okay, I definitely finished one book! It was solid. A good story, just not my favorite.

Now, I’m onto Heart & Soul, which I also do not recall.

I only read the prologue because my dinner was ready and I was hongry.

What I’m listening to:
Did I cry?

Nop.

Thoughts while reading (could be about the book, could not):

I don’t have much to say. It’s chilly, and I did a lot of work today, both fun work and work work.

Fun work is, like, the lollipops and projects that I want to do around the house. Right now, I am remaking my least favorite room in the house – the guest bathroom. We were at Michaels the other day, and they had pretty big mystery boxes for $10. When I got home and opened it, I got immediate inspiration for the bathroom and went and bought four more. It’s going slowly, but looks amazing so far.

Work work is stuff I do for clients, like EngErotics and OnlyInYourState. It’s still fun, though.

You know what else is fun? Reading.

Oooh, a character in this book lives in St. Jarlath’s Crescent! That is where Muttie and Lizze and Maude and Simon live! I wonder if they will do a pop-in!

Is that a real place? Let me look it up.

It is fictional.

This book is about a heart clinic, which hits close to home on many levels for me. Solid characters, set in Ireland.

Binchy’s back, baybee!
