This blog will be short because I’m actually doing a presentation. Well, I’ve already done it by the time this blog is released.
I first gave this presentation at the Sleepover Retreat I held in Detroit last year. I gave it in person to a group of friends, some of whom I knew extremely well, others who I knew online well, but not in person, and one who was a relative stranger (but definitely not a stranger any longer). It was a (nerve-wracking) blast!
Each of us gave a presentation on the first night while noshing on Detroit pizza, charcuterie, and candy. It was an excellent way to get to know each other, and every single presentation was a banger. I honestly can’t wait to do this again next year.
In fact, we all enjoyed ourselves so much that we were gonna do them again on Sunday night and record them, but instead, we just chilled and had more fun. It was such a fulfilling weekend, y’all. We’re doing it again this year… shoot me an email if you want to be a part of it!
My presentation is relevant to an upcoming Holiday, so I had the idea to present it online on my YouTube Channel. I didn’t know when, didn’t schedule anything, just knew that I’d wake up and want to do it one day.
That day was today and here is the presentation:
It was… awkward. Luckily, I had at least one engaged viewer who made me feel like I wasn’t babbling into the void. Eventually, I settled into it and had fun.
I mean, I was talking about one of my favorite topics, after all. I think I would like to do this again, but about other favorite topics, like Search Party being the best work in escalation on television, ever. OR Brockmire as a drinking deterrent. Or Dropout TV being the most human streaming service alive. Or non-television things.
So, yeah, I did that, and there it is above. I love making PowerPoint decks, y’all. If you need one for any purpose whatsoever, hit your girl up!
Okay? Okay.
