The Righteous Gemstones S4E2 (Max)
Okay, so this one will most likely be on an od watching schedule, so I think it gets it’s own post now! This is the spot where you will find it, probably Tuesday.

Severance – S2E8 (AppleTV+)
The only note I took for this episode reads: “Egg treat”
I am beyond theories now. I’m just here for the ride.
Hacks S1-3 rewatch (Max)
This show is the BEST course in comedy writing on television. I can’t wait to see where the new season takes us, but I’m also excited to see what I discover about myself on this rewatch.
I always get at least one life-changing idea when I rewatch this show.
The White Lotus – S3E5 (MAX)
This one deserves its own post, so here it is. It probably won’t be up until Wednesday.
Mythic Quest S4E8 (AppleTV+)
This show has matured, and so has Mr. Pootie Shoe.
Abbott Elementary (Hulu)
Okay, so number 1:
Mr. Johnson sang “Hard Out Here for a Pimp” at Karaoke. My guess is that they couldn’t get “Whoop That Trick” through the censors, so they settled. Because everyone knows “Whoop That Trick” is the superior song…. and my number 1 choice for Karaoke if it is available.
Number 2:
Barbara sang my High School graduation song.
Number 3:
If Melissa would have busted out with some Bette Midler, I would have laid down on the floor and died, knowing that this is indeed a simulation we are living in.
That did not happen, so I am still alive.
I am glad I’m still alive because that means I got to see Jacob’s rousing rendition of “Last Resort” by Papa Roach.
I needed that.
I also needed to see Ava mature on her date with the IT fella. And it happened! I look forward to watching her navigate her first grown up relationship.
Australian Survivor Season 12: Brains vs. Brawn 2 E10-12
This week of episodes ended with an interesting mystery. Listen to us talk about it here.
Dimension 20: Fantasy High (Dropout TV)
I made my first merch order from DropoutTV. That’s how I know I’m really into something.
I mean, I don’t even have P-Valley merch, y’all. Hmm, I might need to remedy this.
I am so into D20, y’all. It is legitimately some of the best storytelling I’ve seen in my life. And I’ve watched and read and written a LOT of stories.

The first thing I knew I wanted was the talking Gilear plush doll. I love Gilear. He is an elf with very few hit points and a life that is quite sad. I love him though. Some folks say he is the chosen one – mostly Fabian, but I think that is ego-based because one time some enemies ran right past Fabian Seacaster to attack Gilear instead.
We’re still working through Sophomore Year, so maybe there is more to this.
Then I got a lil Baby tattoo.
This is Baby:

They cute. They are a LOT, though. I didn’t expect this lil bit of blood to turn into a full-on character, but here we are.
I considered buying myself an Ayda Augefort statue, because I have seen myself in her over and over again.
Y’all, I can’t believe how much this show affects me emotionally. This is incredible art. I’m so glad I watched it. Brennan Lee Mulligan is helping his friends work through some significant issues here, and his audience as well.
Watching Dimension 20 is making me a better human, and I love Sam Reich for giving these folks a space to make money doing truly beautiful things.
I bought myself an Augefort Academy sweater. Mickey is getting a hoodie, which I am sure I will also borrow.
I also got a dice rolling tray, which, like… who am I?
I am very excited for the stuff to arrive because I am hoping that the folks at Dropout put the same care into the quality of merch that Third Man Records do. In my heart, Sam Reich has the same pride in business as Jack White does, so I think I’ll be right.
Hoot. Growl.
Spring Break. I believe in you.
Very Important People (Dropout TV)
Bobby Moynihan and Dropout got me quite excited, but in the grand scheme of Vic’s V.I.P. land, this was one of the episodes that was fine. I felt the same way about the Chris Redd episode. I don’t know if it is because the vibe on set is different with an SNL-er or what, but it doesn’t feel like the same show.
I think the episodes where this show shines best are with the Dropout crew, particularly Anna Garcia. Both of her appearances are among the best of the show.
There are too many to even choose a top ten, though.

Movies
Opus (Theaters)
I have things to say, so I said them. Read them?
