Broadway (and one Off-Broadway)
Of course, these are each gonna get their own posts over the next few weeks. I’ll come back and link the reviews here, but you can also keep an eye on the Broadway tag, cause that’s where they will all be.
But here are my short-n-sweets
Sunset Blvd. (St. James Theater – Thursday, May 8, 7:00 pm)
(and then also Sunday, May 11, 3:45 pm-ish for the street singing)
This is already my new music obsession, but I didn’t love the show because of the music. But because of the performances and the spectacle of the whole thing. There is a one-minute portion of the show that takes over 60 technical peeps to pull off every night.
I am SO GLAD I got to experience this truly magical show.
Oh, Mary! (Lyceum Theater – Friday, May 9 – 7:30 pm)
Despite being obsessed with this show, I went in as blind as possible and I’M SO GLAD. I’ve never cackled so hard in my life. Thrilled to see the original Broadway cast. Cole is a genius.
John Proctor is the Villain (Booth Theater – Saturday, May 10, 1:00 pm)
Bro. BRO. If I could do bigger caps, I could. Kimberly Bellflower is a powerhouse of a playwright. This was girlhood on stage: moving, important, emotional, purposeful, powerful. I loved this so much that I bought two copies of the script – one for me and one for D.
Grief Camp (Atlantic Theater Company – Saturday, May 10, 7:30 pm)
This had good bones, but little to no meat. We accidentally sat in a splash zone.

The Rehearsal S2E4
The podcast is where you’ll get the good views on this thought-provoking show.

24 in 24 S2E1 (Hulu)
We put this on after we got home from “Oh, Mary!” I love a good foodie show and was surprised to see some of the folks I love from Top Chef in this one! I’ll keep watching.
Dimension 20: Unsleeping City
Still fun. No notes.

Gamechanger S7E3 (Dropout TV)
Oops, no bits. This was fun, as they all are.
I thought Ally’s monologue was fantastic and would love to see them in a movie.

Let’s Start a Cult (Hulu)
This was fun as hell.
