“Oh, Mary!”, Tenement Museum & Caesar Salad: New York Day 2

Here is the playlist I was listening to every time I sat down to write this (very long) blog. So, Day 1 in NYC was a blast, but I did forget to tell you one important thing that happened. Caleb (Aubrey’s fella) didn’t go with us to get our lives…

Television The Oscars (Hulu) Here are my picks and here are my thoughts. Did they trot out the accountants this year? I don't recall seeing them. Fun fact: I once considered being an accountant to get the job of tabulating the Oscar votes. Then I realized I do not like…

Television Severance - S2E5 (AppleTV+) OKay here are my thoughts/theories/etc: What is an obligement session? Are they related to what the MDR folks are doing? Or is this another department? I assume it is a balancing of the tempers of some sort. Is Ms. Huang is aging faster than normal?…

Television Severance - S2E4 (AppleTV+) We watched episode 4 once and then rewatched the entire second season again, and I took two pages of notes. We also watched the New Rockstars breakdowns of each episode, and they revealed some things we missed. Here are my notes. They include some really…

Watch List – 1/27 – 2/2: RomComs, Independent TV and More!

Television Severance - S2E3 (AppleTV+) Okay, so I have been thinking a lot about Dylan’s job interview from the previous episode. I think the interviewer might be another older version of Dylan. There is definitely a clone/ consciousness switch/manipulation thing going on. I don’t have a lot to say this…

Television Severance - S2E2 (AppleTV+ - Rewatch) First off… what do we think of Helena’s bodyguard (?), Mr. Drummond? He feels comforting, which is what a bodyguard should be for the person they are guarding. Mr. Drummond is also quite intimidating, which is also what a bodyguard should be. What…

Television Severance - S2E1 (AppleTV+) First off, that opening sequence left me BREATHLESS. It was so exciting and I want to watch a behind the scenes about it immediately. And then Alia Shawkat showed up as a new team member — I was stoked! Okay, so here are some questions…

5 TV Shows You Should Be Watching (But Probably Aren’t)

We are in the golden age of television. Well, the golden age in my mind.  It makes me feel like the movie industry in the 90s. Back then, it was the birth of the time where movie making became more accessible to everyone and not just the richos in Hollywood.…
